The Process
Your initial consultation will be up to one and a half hours (children are often much more straightforward and clearly show their constitutional makeup). We need to acquire a complete overview, so verbatim notetaking is necessary.
You may be surprised by how much detail is required, but all aspects of your case may be significant. Aetiology is particularly important, for instance where a symptom arises after a stressful episode; also the exact location and sensation of a symptom may help us to differentiate between remedies.
From the total picture you have given, we are able to find a matching remedy of the right substance and potency.
Be assured that the process is non-judgmental, entirely confidential and professional.
Your follow-up consultations, which last up to 45 minutes, maintain and support your healing process.
You will come to realise how beneficial it is for you to actively participate in your own healing. Check-in reports between meetings help to keep you on track.
After the Remedy
As the remedy is a stimulus to self-healing, we sometimes see the return of an old symptom, particularly one that was originally suppressed. This is an opportunity for permanent improvement, and a good guide to the efficacy of the remedy. For example, if eczema has been suppressed in the past with hydrocortisone cream, it may well reappear temporarily as an indication that it was not cured, while the asthma that was the more serious presenting complaint disappears.
Your response to the remedy is unique to your situation, and its pace must be matched with appropriate prescribing. For instance, in acute episodes the remedy may need repeating frequently, several times a day, whereas in slow-moving chronic conditions one prescription may last for months.
Remedies are not that fragile
For example you may have heard that certain substances, such as mint and coffee, need to be avoided throughout a course of treatment. This is probably over-cautious. Just take the remedy! If you are taking recreational drugs, this will be an obstacle to cure, but we can work with this, as long as we know about it.
